With Sympathy

It is with great sadness that we announce the death on 13th  January 2022 of David (Bunny) Bunclarke. David joined the regiment in 1966 having previously served with 3^rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment. David served with the Recce Platoon for most of his service and was a very professional soldier, earning a great deal of respect from his comrades and all who served with him. A typical Yorkshireman with a wonderful sense of humour and the ability to talk straight when needed. On leaving the army, he became a DVLA Driving Test Examiner and made good progress into a supervisory role. In retirement, he and Kate became enthusiastic caravan tourers and spent a lot of winters in warmer climes. A very pleasant man and good company. He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and comrades and our condolences go out to Kate and his family.
