The 2025 St. George’s Day Service will also include a commemoration of the regiment’s last overseas deployment to Aden in 1965. Regimental veterans who were in theatre are eligible for a special commemorative lapel badge, which will be made available on the day courtesy of the Association. As always the service will be held in the Regimental Chapel, Chichester Cathedral, to which all veterans of the Royal Sussex and her successor regiments are invited, along with all Association members, veterans widows and ‘Friends of the Regiment’, who would be made most welcome. Red roses, will as normal, be available at the door for a donation to the Association that goes towards covering the cost of the service and floral decoration. Please give generously. Refreshments will be served in the Chichester Masonic Hall in South Pallant, after the service. Due to a limit on attendance numbers entrance to the Masonic Hall will be by ticket only. Regimental Association members will take priority and should apply to their branch secretary. Non-Branch Association members and veterans widows should apply to the Association Secretary, any others who wish to attend, should apply to the Association Secretary for a ticket at a cost £17 per ticket.
